it is quite well-timed, your inquiry as to when the hell i am going to blog again...

i look at the icon for this blog on my toolbar almost daily and sigh dramatically and think that i really should update it, but then i get caught up reading people.com or doing my fifteenth thousandth fantasy football mock draft and wind up not updating shit.

BUT! all that is about to change, my friend. believe it. there is nothing i would like more than to provide you with something to occupy yourself with while at work, all the while updating you on the goings on here in NYC. there is lots of exciting stuff on the horizon! and for the rest of you, if there still are any, then you can hear about it too! otherwise, it is me and you, alec! whoo hoo!

so, now that i have made all these fantastic promises, i will not deliver on them quite yet. i have to run off to meet a good friend for brunch and to discuss a very exciting project that we are collaborating on and which i will certainly chronicle here shortly when i start to regularly post just like i promise i will do, cross my heart, probably tomorrow. or maybe monday...

oh and as for facebook... ah, social networking sites... never shall i darken the doorstep of one, ever. but i promise that i won't pass judgment on them or their users that are my beloved friends, except for myspace, cause that shit is wack. my web presence shall remain limited to this here old blog and google talk, whenever i am online, which is almost always. oh, and goodreads too! www.goodreads.com, laurenmvb... if anyone wants to join up and stuff.
